It's Essential To Knowledge About Walking Frame by Fuad Haziq

What Is Walking Frame?Photobucket

A walker or walking frame is a tool for disabled or elderly people who need additional support to maintain balance or stability while walking. The British English common equivalent term for a walker is Zimmer frame - from Zimmer Holdings, a major manufacturer of such devices and joint replacement parts.
Simple Ways To Use Walking Frame
          The person walks with the frame surrounding their front and sides and their hands provide additional support by holding on to the top of the sides of the frame. Traditionally, a walker is picked up and placed a short distance ahead of the user. The user then walks to it and repeats the process. With the use of wheels and glides, the user may push the walker ahead as opposed to picking it up. This makes for easier use of the walker, as it does not require the user to use their arms to lift the walker. This is beneficial for those with little arm strength.

It's All About The Low Back Pain ! by Russel Morris

What is Low Back Pain ? milkysmile
Lower back pain is very common and can generally be classified into acute lower back pain and mild to moderate lower back pain. It is not always possible to make a precise diagnosis of a specific back injury or condition which might be causing lower back pain. However, this should not prevent the back pain from being managed or treated.

Mild or moderate low back pain
Mild or moderate lower back pain is the type of pain that would be associated with chronic or long term back problems. Longer term back pain is usually caused initially by an injury, usually to the joints in the back but over time other structures in particular soft tissue such as muscles contribute to the pain. Muscles will tighten up in response to a back injury and if left they can tighten, weaken or adaptively shorten causing changes in posture or movement which then also make the condition worse.

Muscle Cramp ! by Izzati

What is it?
Muscle cramps happen when all or parts of a muscle contract without your control. They can stay contracted for several minutes, or until the muscle is stretched out and massaged. They're most common in your lower limbs, especially your calf muscles. But they can occur in any muscle. Severe cramps will stop or limit the activity that you were doing.
Why does it happen?
The main theory is that dehydration and fatigue cause muscle cramps. You lose vital minerals in sweat (mainly salts), and muscles start to cramp without them. After intense exercise or a new activity, your muscles may be so fatigued that they "misfire". Several misfires in the same muscle will cause it to cramp.

Stress? Handle It With One of The Health Psychology Technique! by Faza

Guided Imagery For Stress Relief

Visualization, or guided imagery, is a variation on traditional meditation that can help relieve stress. When used as a relaxation technique, guided imagery involves imagining a scene in which you feel at peace, free to let go of all tension and anxiety. Choose whatever setting is most calming to you, whether a tropical beach, a favorite childhood spot, or a quiet wooded glen. You can do this visualization exercise on your own, with a therapist’s help, or using an audio recording.

Close your eyes and let your worries drift away. Imagine your restful place. Picture it as vividly as you can—everything you can see, hear, smell, and feel. Guided imagery works best if you incorporate as many sensory details as possible. For example, if you are thinking about a dock on a quiet lake:

*       See the sun setting over the water
*       Hear the birds singing
*       Smell the pine trees
*       Feel the cool water on your bare feet
*       Taste the fresh, clean air
